Responsibilities

Knowledge
Experience working in the field of psychiatry in a social environment is preferred. Experience working in an Admission section of a Hospital where patients with acute psychiatric problems are admitted.

Social Skills
Guide clients with psychiatric problems and interact with their caregivers, family and friends. Positive and appropriate attitude, listening skills, empathy, perseverance, patience and tact at all times.

Requirements

Degree or Diploma’s obtained through nursing programs acknowledged by the Sint Maarten Government as a Registered Nurse. A certificate with a psychiatric specialization or Social Psychiatric Nurse is preferred.
