Bonaire Hotel and Tourism Association (BONHATA)
As the Bonaire Hotel and Tourism Association (BONHATA) we ensure that the interests of our members are represented. We currently have more than 120 members comprised of resorts, hotels, apartments, diving and water sports businesses, car rentals, restaurants/dining and other tourism-related companies on- and off-island. We have a board of directors consisting of nine of our members.
BONHATA is here to support the tourism industry and create an excellent business environment. We promote, support, and empower our members through cooperation with one unified voice. When it comes to representing our interests, we are always stronger when we work together. It is crucial to build relationships and partnerships with our many stakeholders. We love our island, and we always keep in mind its unique culture, nature, atmosphere, and high quality for the visitors of our beautiful Bonaire.
BONHATA is recognized by the National & Island Government and the Caribbean Hotel & Tourism Association (CHTA) as Bonaire’s official hotel and tourism association. Founded in 1980, BONHATA has been at the forefront of the island’s tourism industry for over four decades.
