The Bonaire Chamber of Commerce (COC) is an independent legal entity that has a number of tasks established by law (Wet op de Kamers van Koophandel en Nijverheid BES). Its main tasks are:

• Managing the Business Register of Bonaire (this lists all companies, legal entities and branch offices established on the island)
• Informing and advising the government in the field of economic development (both solicited and unsolicited)
• Providing general information about doing business on Bonaire and general economic affairs
• Representing all companies on the island.

The CoC is particularly committed to improving the preconditions for doing business on the island. in various areas. Recently the COC has received many indications from local businesses that they experience lots of challenges to recruit qualified personnel to fill in key positions. This is the reason why the COC finds it important to participate at the Fred Expo, representing the private companies on Bonaire, and as such giving them a platform to present their vacancies and get in touch with interested candidates. Besides this, the COC would be there presenting the benefits of emigrating to Bonaire and will also give a presentation about the possibilities to start your own business on Bonaire.
